Limited-time opportunities: customer bonus incentives and Small Business’ customer eligibility modification

We want to help you close projects this year, increase your participation and drive results. That’s why we added customer bonus incentives for select lighting and non-lighting measures and increased eligibility criteria to participate in the Small Business program. Here’s a look at the details.

  • Customer bonuses for lighting are approximately 10% of the base incentive. The incentive offer is required to reserve bonus funds for applicable lighting projects. Bonuses for non-lighting are approximately 20% of the base incentive.  The customer bonus is applied before project-level incentive caps. To receive this incentive, applicable measures must be installed with the final application submitted by Nov. 30, 2025. Projects completed after Nov. 30, 2025, will not be eligible for bonus incentives. The customer bonus incentive funding is subject to availability. The bonus deadlines and full terms and conditions will be available on the program website and may be modified at any time.

  • From March 4, through Nov. 30, 2025, the maximum electric annual usage eligibility criteria for Small Business and Named Community Small Business have been increased from 200,000 kilowatt-hours to 300,000 kilowatt-hours. Projects must be completed by Nov. 30, 2025. After this limited-time offer, the threshold will revert back to 200,000 kilowatt-hours.

Program changes:

  • To streamline thermostat applications, thermostats have been removed from HVAC Check-Up offerings.
  • Incentives are reduced for thermostats in both the Small Business non-lighting and listed HVAC incentive tables while keeping the incentive in the Small Business offering higher than the regularly listed incentive offer.

Help your customers with a new Washington finance offering

We are excited to announce that customers participating in our listed lighting retrofit incentives program will soon have a new financing opportunity. This limited-time offer is designed to make energy efficiency projects more accessible and will help close projects for customers who need financing. We’re still finalizing the details, but we will be able to offer project loan rates as low as 1.99% for qualifying customers.

Financing energy efficiency projects is a great way to help customers start seeing savings immediately. Some customers may even be cash-flow neutral from day one. This limited-time opportunity will offer customers a great way to make sustainable investments while keeping budgets intact.

To help make participation easy, we’ll be releasing an upcoming webinar to train you on the process and answer your questions. Stay tuned for more information!

Washington vendor events recap

Several manufacturers set up exhibitions to showcase their products and answer questions. As always, it was a meaningful way to connect with our vendors in person and create networking opportunities.
